This course thoroughly teaches the techniques and principles of traditional Thai Massage. Students will learn the classic 90-120 minute Thai massage routine as taught by the Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand and the Naga Center in Portland, Oregon.
The curriculum will include information about Thai history, culture, and traditions which will help to enrich your understanding of the lineage and use of massage in Thailand's medical system. Additionally, the principles of alignment, safety and proper body mechanics will be discussed during class.
